The Quick 440A is a benchtop ionizer. An ionizer is a device that ionizes molecules, which means that it puts an electrical charge on particles. This process is used to neutralize static charges (ESD) present on surfaces or components. This is achieved by allowing electrons to flow into the air, which results in the production of ozone (O3). As soon as the ozone comes into contact with the static charge, it is neutralised.
The 440A is a compact ionizer with a large ionization area and has an adjustable angle to increase the ease of use.
