The EA-PSI 5200-04 A power supply belongs to the EA-PS 5000 series and has a power of 320W. The output voltage is 0-200V and the output current is 0-4A.
The EA-PS 5000 series power supplies are micro-controlled digital power supplies with good functionality. These relatively inexpensive power supplies offer flexible 'auto-ranging'. This allows e power supplies to provide either a high current or a high voltage within the provided power. A picture of this can be seen in the pictures above. The power supply indicates when it operates in CC (constant current) mode or CV (constant voltage) mode.
In addition, the power supply contains an LCD display. With the knob it is possible to switch between fine or precise settings of the values.
The power supplies offer overvoltage protection, but also overcurrent protection. It is also possible to set the current to a specific value at which the power supply should be switched off automatically. This current is adjustable from 0-110%.
The power supplies can be managed and controlled by a PC via the USB connection.
