EA-PS 3150-04B power supply

The unique feature of the EA-PS 3150-04B power supply is the adjustable DC output voltage that can be controlled up to 150V. The device shows output values with 3 digits and has a power factor correction circuit. This power supply has a compact and light design and in combination with the closed system without external cooling blocks, it is an ideal product for demonstrations, research and teaching in schools. There are also 7 LEDs present on this power supply which indicate various conditions such as constant voltage, constant current, protection elements, active mode, standby mode and external access.

The EA-PS 3150-04B offers the possibility to adjust the voltage and current level by means of fine and coarse controllers. Furthermore, this power supply has an adjustable over voltage protection, i.e. voltage protection, which causes the system to switch off when the output voltage exceeds the set value. The power supply has an over temperature protection that closes the outputs in case the temperature of a transformer or other component gets too high. As mentioned before, an LED also lights up to indicate this situation and when the component has cooled down enough, the power supply itself turns on again.

The analog interface offers the possibility to control this unit externally by means of analog signals, with which also set values can be determined. Furthermore, the 3150-04B can also be controlled with a computer by means of a USB UTA12 interface. The software for this interface comes with this product.
