GW Instek AFG-2105 function generator

The AFG-2105 from GW Instek is a 5 MHz function generator with 1 channel that has good properties. So this function generator can generate signals with 4k points at 10 bit vertical resolution. In addition, the duty-cycle of the block wave signals can be varied from 1% to 99%. The fact that the duty-cycle is so widely adjustable is not common on function generators. The advantage of this is that it is possible to generate pulse signals in this way. In addition, the function generator has a built-in frequency counter that can measure up to 150 MHz.

The function generator provides up to 20 Vpp output amplitude and 0.1 Hz resolution. In addition, the 2105 can perform multiple modulations on the signal. The function generator can modulate AM/FM/PM/FSK. The possibilities are extensive.

The 3.5" TFT screen of the AFG-2105 shows simultaneously the waveform, frequency, amplitude, offset and other important settings. This makes the operation very easy.

The AFG-2105 function generator can also be connected to a computer via USB. Using the supplied software, arbitrary signals can be created which can then be generated on the generator.
